Chase Ink Business Unlimited Review: No Annual Fee with High Rewards

Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card

If you run a business, one of the biggest questions with credit cards is simple:

Which card should you actually use for the majority of your spending?

There are plenty of cards with great bonus categories. The problem is that most real business expenses don’t neatly fall into those categories.

That’s exactly why the Chase Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card has remained one of the most useful cards for any business.

It’s not flashy, and it doesn’t try to be. But for many businesses that spend across a wide range of categories, that simplicity is actually the biggest advantage.

A Strong Welcome Bonus with No Annual Fee

You can currently earn $750 cash back after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening

While the Chase Ink Business Unlimited is technically a cash-back card, you can actually “combine” this into Ultimate Rewards points if you hold a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve®, or Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card.

One of the best parts about the card? There is no annual fee. For a card with no annual fee, that’s a very strong bonus.

Earn Unlimited 1.5% Cash Back on Everything

One of the biggest reasons I like this card is the simplicity.

You earn an unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase, and with an Ultimate Rewards card, it’s essentially the same as earning 1.5x Ultimate Rewards points on every purchase.

There are no spending caps and no categories to track which makes this card perfect for any business. Instead of thinking about which card you need to use to maximize a specific category, this becomes an easy default card for every category.

Turn Cash back Into Ultimate Rewards Points

Like I mentioned above, one of the best features of this card is its flexibility. If you have a Chase credit card that earns Ultimate Rewards points like the Sapphire Preferred, Reserve, or Ink Business Preferred, you aren’t stuck with just cash.

You can move your cash back to those accounts to turn your 1.5% cash back into 1.5x Ultimate Rewards points, effectively supercharging your travel redemption value.

By moving your cashback to one of these Ultimate Reward earning cards, they instantly become Ultimate Rewards points

With Ultimate Rewards Points, you can transfer them to airline and hotel partners including programs. These include partners like United MileagePlus, World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, and many more.

This is where the card can truly shine.

Other Perks

Outside of the $0 annual fee, strong earning and point potential, this card offers plenty of other benefits that business owners will find useful.

For example, the card comes with a 0% intro APR for 12 months from account opening on purchases and then the ongoing 16.74% – 24.74% variable APR.

You’ll also be able to add employee cards at no additional cost, and the ability to set spending limits on those cards. Plus, when you’re using your Ink Unlimited card you’ll also be getting primary auto rental coverage, purchase protection, and even extended warranty protection.

On top of all of this, you’ll also earn up to 5% cash back on Lyft rides through September 30th, 2027.

My Final Thoughts

If you’re a business owner looking for a card with no annual fee and great everyday earning rates with an awesome signup bonus, this is a great card to get.

If you have an Ultimate Rewards earning card and plan on moving the cash back to one of these cards in exchange for Ultimate Rewards points, this is a fantastic card to get.
